We moved to Indiana 5 years ago from California and slowly started to see a change in our dishes and dishwasher performance over time. My glassware especially was looking very cloudy and spot ridden.We had to hand wipe every load to try and get some of the deposits off. Even after scrubbing the glassware, they looked horrible once they dried again. I went online and searched for tips and tricks for better ways to clean and de-scale my dishwasher. I even tried some products that are designed to clean washers with poor results, and that did not last more than a week or two. Nothing worked as well as I was hoping so each few months I had to manually scrub off the deposits with a scouring pad.

On a shopping trip to Target I discovered your product and decided to try it. I was trying to remove the mineral deposits inside my stainless steel dishwasher and stop getting cloudy glasses. I was using a rinsing agent and vinegar with my detergent but they were just not working.

Ever since we moved into our house 2 years ago, we had had problems with white spots and cloudiness all over my lovely glassware, including original pub pint glasses from England. We had tried many things like, reducuing the amount of powder we used, swtiching dishwasher soap brands, and rinsing and washing with vinegar. But nothing worked. I was fed up of having to keep washing everything by hand after they had been in the dishwasher, and I was getting so embarrassed when people came over and I had to offer them a drink in a glass that looked filthy, that we were about ready to buy a new dishwasher.

I have never written to a company regarding a product before but my family encouraged me to do it because I have been raving so much about Lemi Shine. My glasses and silverware had gotten very foggy and my plates had a film on them. I assumed it was from hard water and the fact that our dishwasher was old. But the dishwasher still ran without a problem so I was not ready to spend the money to replace it. I had tried a number of different dishwasher detergents as well as Jet Dry. Nothing worked to clear things up. Then I found Lemi Shine and thought I would try one more thing. Especially since it said on the bottle that it helped with hard water problems and deposits.

Well, I was very frustrated with the way my "clean" glasses looked. The dishwasher left them with a very milky film (and I blamed the dishwasher every day). It came to the point where I was hand washing my glasses every day, but still wasn't satisfied with the film and spots.
My father ordered special magnets to put on the water pipes. These magnets were supposed to rearrange the ions in the water and make it softer. I noticed a wonderful improvement in the shower, but not in the kitchen!
