I love my little country home and all the amenities this life brings: the animals, irrigation, septic system and hard well water. I recently went back to school full time leaving me little time to complete my normal home chores. My husband and son graciously chipped in so I could complete my goal with less stress. Throughout the first months things seemed to be going smoothly and our arrangement was going great. Until I came home one day and my husband had torn out the dishwasher. He was tired of having the dishes come out looking worse than they went in due to the water residue and spots.
Out went my $350 dishwasher and home came this top of the line $1,000 stainless steel model that would solve our problems. Life with the new dishwasher was okay for the first week and all of a sudden we were back to water spots and film. Not to mention the stainless steel inside that looked like underground cave built up with lime, sulfur and calcium less the stalagmites. My husband was nuts . . . off went the call to the local water softener company. The salesman came out, tested the water at a 16ppm rating. It was no wonder we were having problems. We were left with an estimate of $2,500 for a new soft water system and my husband was anxious to sign papers. There was no way we could afford this just to get rid of water spots on the dishes. Some other solution needed to be found or knowing my dear husband I was about to be the ‘proud’ owner of a brand new soft water system. I went on a search to the local market, crossing my fingers; there had to be something available because we could not be the only person out there with this problem. I must have spent three hours going from store to store with no luck, finally ended up at Wal-Mart. They had the same products on the shelf as every other store I had been to. The bottle labeling catered to everything I was looking for, right down to being septic system safe but could it stand up to what I really needed? Paying for the product I went home to give it a try. Lemi Shine broke the heart of a water softener salesman the day we began using your product. It is unbelievable the difference this product made. No more water residue on pots and pans. No more film on the plates. No more water spots on our glasses. Yet the best part - the stainless steel inside of the dishwasher that looked like a lime cave was now sparkling like the day we brought it home. I had the pleasure of tearing the water softener estimate up in tiny-tiny bits as my husband graciously kissed my cheek. |
