As a busy stay at home mom to a 2 ½ year old princess and another baby girl that will arrive in less than eight weeks - I’m certainly thankful for simple things that make my life easier. Time after time, my dishes came out of the dishwasher covered in a pasty while residue. It didn’t matter what I did (added JetDry, switched detergent, ran vinegar through an empty cycle etc.) nothing helped. Crusty, spotted dishes started to make me crazy.
When my old dishwasher broke I celebrated thinking that pasty dishes were a thing of the past! After my new dishwasher arrived I was crushed that within several weeks, my dishes came out the same way AGAIN! After several weeks, I finally resorted to hand washing all of my dishes and wanted to throw my new dishwasher out the window! Then, a friend of mine told me she discovered Lemi Shine. After years of frustrating dish drama, I'll admit that I was skeptical - but had nothing to loose, so I tried it. After using Lemi Shine ONE time in my dishwasher, the dishes came out beautiful, sparking and crystal clear! It was magical. I was so excited that I could have skipped up and down the street telling everyone I met. That evening I sent out a mass email to all the ladies I knew telling them about Lemi Shine (even included a before and after picture, which really got their attention). Lots of them have since been hooked and can't live without Lemi Shine either. Come to learn, this amazing product has more than one use…I’ll admit, cleaning showers is my LEAST favorite thing to do. I’m typically a bath person, so it’s easy for me to put it off. Well, one morning all I really wanted was to sit in a hot shower (since hot baths are off limits when your pregnant). I opened the shower door - Holy COW!! Who knew that a shower could really get that dirty? I marched to the kitchen and pulled out all of the regular bathroom cleaners trying them one after another. After ONE HOUR of scrubbing, scrubbing and more scrubbing, I hadn’t even made a dent. My daughter soon woke up and came into the room. She found me soaking wet on my hands and knees, wearing bright yellow rubber gloves, my hair completely disheveled, huffing and puffing. There had to be an easier solution. Then, I remembered reading something on the back of the Lemi Shine bottle about cleaning bathrooms. As soon as I sprayed the shower walls with a diluted Lemi Shine solution, the soap scum just started melting off! I'm not kidding - it was amazing! Within a few minutes, my shower was completely clean . Not only does Lemi Shine work wonders in keeping dishes residue-free but it is a time and back saver when it comes to bathroom cleaning. With the upcoming holiday season, I’m sure that Lemi Shine will save me hours of work and energy that I’ll be able to spend with my family and friends instead. I’m certainly thankful for that!
