I'm a mom with nine kids. Yep, I said nine. So you can imagine that we go through a lot of dishes at every single meal. I count on my "servants," the washing machine, the dryer, and boy, do I count on the dishwasher!

When our water softener broke, I could tell the difference in my hair right away. But I didn't put two and two together about the dishes. My sons were grounded for three weeks in a row because I found dirty dishes in the cabinet! After the boys (brilliant science students that they are) figured out the correlation between the cruddy glass shower doors and the drinking glasses they couldn't get clean, (and after their mother sheepishly apologized), we all set out in a search for an answer.  We tried a vinegar soak. Nope. We tried overnight soaks. Nope. We tried baking soda and vinegar. We tried hand scrubbing. It got some of the hard water off, but it was certainly time consuming. Did I mention that I have nine kids? Can you picture what they might do to a living room while it is taking mom over an hour to clean the dishes by hand? Besides, why did I buy a dishwasher? To be a very large paperweight?

We needed a solution that saved us some time allowing us to continue to use our dishwasher. We called the appliance store where we bought the dishwasher, and they said, "That's just dishwashers in Indiana. You just have to replace them every couple of years." Every two years? Surely not!

Then we found your website and decided that Lemi Shine certainly couldn't hurt! We'd tried everything else, and it was way less expensive than a new dishwasher!

Our dishwasher definitely required the recommended overnight soak. (Thanks for the tip!) In the meantime, we also tried your directions for cleaning our shower doors. I've never seen teenage boys have so much fun cleaning! The doors sparkled like they were new!

The dishwasher has done the same for our dishes. I was ready to throw away our cups. I thought they were completely etched! But they weren't. Thank God for Lemi Shine! Without it, I would've replaced a dishwasher that is still a good servant, continued to toss out drinking glasses, and my teenage boys may have been grounded for life!

Now we keep a good stock of Lemi Shine in the house. If we ever did run out, I think I'd have to let the boys skip their chores. After all, what's the point of running a dishwasher without Lemi Shine?

Not everyone has nine kids. But everyone has something that keeps them busy. Time is too precious to spend it working on chores when we could spend it playing together instead! Thanks, Lemi Shine!
