We live in Ventura County, CA, and our water is known to be the hardest in the country. Our dishwasher was ruining our glasses and even leaving a chalky film on mugs, plates and utensils. A friend told us about Lemi Shine, but we were very skeptical because we had tried so many other products. Not only did Lemi Shine leave our glasses crystal clear, but it cleaned the inside of our dishwasher as well! We thought we would have to get a new dishwasher because all the elements inside were clogged and covered with calcium deposits. After a few weeks of using Lemi Shine, we noticed that there was some residue in our mugs and glasses - like little particles. It lasted for about a week, and then we figured out what was happening. The calcium deposits inside our dishwasher were coming loose. Pretty soon though the deposits were all gone, and our dishwasher is completely clean inside! Even the dryer element came clean. My husband is a hard sell on anything, but he will run out and purchase more Lemi Shine as soon as we run out because he believes in it 100%. We tell all our friends about it now. Great product!

A few years ago I purchased a new dishwasher. After washing the dishes, they were worse than they were with the old dishwasher. I was very upset as I just spent a lot of money on this new dishwasher. I called out the repair person thinking the dishwasher was somehow bad, and they just filled the rinse aid. The ultimate was when one of my child's friends came over. I gave them something to drink, and the child actually asked me if the glass was clean. I was so embarrased. I purchased everything I could find on the shelf at the market for the dishwasher. Lemi Shine was one of those products. I tried the Lemi Shine first and never needed to use any other product. I typically purchase by the case as I was having trouble locating it in my area. My dishes look clean again, and I'm no longer embarrased. I swear by it and recommend it to anyone who complains about their dishwasher. I recently gave some to a co-worker to try, and she loves it. I usually don't recommend products, but Lemi Shine really works! My dishes were not getting clean; so, I called a repairman to come and look at it. He said there was nothing wrong, just calcium buildup. He usually carries a product to take care of it but he was out, thank goodness, because he said it cost $30.00! So, I started trying different products. I was using a product, but when I was at the grocery store, I noticed Lemi Shine next to the product I use, and it cost less. So, I thought I would give it a try. It worked great, and I didn't have to measure it every time I used it. My dishes come out clean and shiny, and my dishwasher is clean and shiny, too. I live on an island in Lake Erie and have hard, iron, calcium well water. My dishes and glasses always had a film on them and felt like powder was on them. No matter what dishwashing powder or liquid detergent we tried, they would not come clean. I would also rewash them by hand with vinegar, and they still looked bad. One time with Lemi Shine and you could see through the glasses for the first time, and the dishes felt like new, not filmy. And...I don't have to clean my dishwasher anymore; so, I save money!!!!

I have been using Lemi Shine powder for over 4 years. It is hands-down the only way I can get my dishes clean, spot-free and etch-free in my dishwasher. Recently I was given the opportunity to try Lemi Shine Rinse. I was able to set my rinse dispenser to a lower setting and still get all of the dishes clean, spot-free, and etch-free. I have searched considerably and never found any other product that makes my dishwasher do its job correctly, and that goes for my previous dishwasher as well.
